Funny, Funny, Funny!

Today work was definitely the funniest day of all. I couldn't stop smiling. I almost LOLed, too, so I had to cough to try and mask it. My Life is Average is pretty funny. Amy pointed out that a lot of them are more like "my life is awesome," and it's so true. I found these three on the same page today, and felt that they fit well with Amy, Eric, and Jenn, respectively.

Today, I took a test in science class. One of the questions was "What is arguably the most dangerous element?" I said the element of surprise. I got extra credit. MLIA. 

Today, My chemistry teacher asked our class if anything occurs when you mix an alcohol with a salt. I said a margarita. He gave me a bonus point. MLIA. 

Today I played with my sister's iTouch. I opened up her safari app, and the two pages she had open were MLIA and wikiHow: How to be a Ninja. I'm glad we're related. MLIA.

I can't remember why I looked up this commercial, but it's definitely one of my favorite commercials of all time. I wish we had more / funnier commercials in the US.

I had a mental list (in no particular order) of goals I wanted to accomplish this summer. Needless to say, a lot of it is still in progress, but I believe that if I actually write it down, I'll get more done. Shoulda done this earlier!

1.) Learn the basics to AfterEffects
2.) Brush up on my art history
3.) Make some more shirts
4.) Drink more water   
This has been accomplished. Yay for pale pee, but having to go every 10 minutes is not ideal. I need to pace myself!
5.) Get inspired with cool design
6.) Finish vectoring the series of posters ("Now Panic and Freak Out!")
7.) Clean up my music—file naming conventions, info, etc...

8.) Clean up my apartment. There's a ton of stuff and not enough places to hide them in. Time to throw stuff out?
It's definitely been a summer effort. I'm constantly cleaning but more needs to get done! 
9.) Catch up on the latest technology and gadgets. I love this stuff! But yes, I do this anyway. Summer just lets me indulge.

10.) Watch the season finale of Lost and the series finale of Prison Break.
I'll never get over how good of a show Prison Break was. Come back, Wentworth Miller! Admittedly not really a "goal," but more a part of this extended To-Do list.
 
I hate you, mouse. I really hope my keyboard + mouse comes soon! I need it before I chuck my mouse out of the window.

My Blog: 3 Years Later

I can't remember what sparked me to go to my "group blog" tonight, but long story short, it led me to make some changes on this blog. I had to MANUALLY go through 100+ posts to change them to drafts instead of having them show up in the archive. There should be an easier way to do this! Am I just not aware of it? (Come on, Blogger!)

Reading some of the posts brought back a lot of painful memories. I think that's why I avoided blogging so much. Then there's the lazy factor. I get so detailed in what I write that I actually put time and effort into it, so blogging becomes a chore. I don't exactly enjoy writing and I don't feel that I'm a great writer either, so I guess it doesn't even make sense for me to have a blog. Then again, blogging could be therapeutic?

I'm in love with Phoenix's Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix album. I first heard of them when I was in Urban Outfitters this summer and "Lisztomania" was playing. I don't normally like a song after I've only heard it once, but this was the case. I Googled the lyrics, and then got the album. LOVE IT. I listened to it 3 times today. THREE. They remind me of The Strokes, and I remember listening to Room On Fire like twice a day everyday.

I think I'll try to blog more and post things I find interesting / funny / or thought provoking...maybe my fifth year of college will be filled with worth-while blog entries, hahah!
